CoCo Loves the Caring Vet

June 30, 2017 by Site Admin Leave a Comment

Coco is an almost-three-year-old mal-shi, which is an adorable mix between a maltese and a shih tzu!  As soon as Cathy Valenzano saw him, she knew he would be coming home with her.  Cathy says this little guy is “beyond full of affection” and falls in love with everyone he meets.  It’s no wonder the last couple of years with CoCo have been some of her best.

Unfortunately, CoCo’s first visit to the veterinarian left Cathy looking for other options.  “They gave too many vaccines,” she said, “and the atmosphere was like a factory.”  She wanted a doctor that took a different approach to pet health and — thankfully — found Dr. Selmer, who spent over an hour with her in their first appointment, and this first time fur-mom has been with The Caring Vet ever since.    Cathy says that you can’t be in the same room with CoCo and not fall in love with him.  (Our team happens to agree!)

Like many of the pet parents who bring their fur babies to The Caring Vet, they themselves take a holistic approach to their own health and lifestyle, and CoCo’s mom is no different.   Finding the right veterinarian with the right approach made all the different to Cathy:

“Dr. Selmer always made me feel at ease when I had a concern. He’s thorough, and got back to me right away whenever I contacted his office with a question.  I trust him and am fully confident in his unique approach / philosophy to veterinary medicine.  If you’re looking for an understanding, passionate holistic vet… a vet who takes time with you and your pet… a vet who treats your pet like his own, I would recommend Dr. Selmer to anyone.”

Just for good measure, here’s one last look at the uber cute CoCo.
